Cichlidae

Ah cichlids, the wondrous evolutionary masterpiece of freshwater fish, how I love thee. Cichlids are a highly diverse group of fish; they inhabit many different environments, from the Amazon to the African Rift Lakes. Because of their varied habitats you may notice cichlids can be very different from fish to fish. Here are some photos of the excellent specimens we’ve come across!
