What Should Sustainable Really Mean?
Sustainability should be a process such as evolution. It cannot be a finality or end-point. It is about well-managed, positive, impactful socio-ecological systems. These procedures must accentuate the benefits of an intact bio-diverse ecosystem.
The process of sustainability should include Aquaculture and Mariculture integrated with wild popula genome and collection. It is imperative these socio-economic systems benefit human welfare locally and globally. The sustainable process must result with a positive impact on environmental and ecological diversity within local regions.
As with evolution, time changes us socially, economically and biologically. Sustainability (a controlled factor) must adapt to these changes in order to succeed for generations to come.
